Quality Inspector IPTV

PURPOSE AND SCOPE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Under Service management guidance, conducts job inspections, analysis and observations. Evaluates results and makes recommendations as necessary for maintaining compliance with quality standards. Prepares reports and feedback to Operations, to assist in identifying non-conforming trends. Provides technical expertise and support to Operation’s technicians and managers.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Perform Quality Inspections of in progress and/or completed orders as per MSA.
Report Quality Inspections results directly to Operations to assist in establishing preventive actions.
Validate quality of corrective actions completed on reported deviations.
Prepare and document coaching sessions to Operations.
Prepare training material and training sessions.
Prepare Quality Flashes and Bulletins.
Provide daily support to Operations.
Participate in Operations Regional Managers meeting to review the Quality results of a region.
Produce and respect an inspection calendar & make inspection on completed work site or on site where the work is almost completed.
Take part in ISO audits to be able to make results analysis & to identify trends.

The following communication interaction is required in this job via face to face meetings, e-mail, and telephone:
INTERNAL:
· Direct contact with OP’s technicians and all level of management in Expertech.
EXTERNAL:
· Direct contact with client representatives and product provider
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Educational/Experience Level Required
University Degree or College diploma and or equivalent experience in a related field.
Job-Specific Certifications
ISO certified auditor
Years of Experience Required
3 - 5 years experience in a quality position, supervising, coaching staff, or technology field.
Specific Experience
Excellent knowledge of Access network or telecommunication inside equipment (ETE)
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (verbal & written)
Knowledge of basic contract information and negotiation techniques
Background in Quality
Understanding of supply chain function from procurement to disposition
Organization, co-ordination and strong time management skills to handle multiple demands and deadlines
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically EXCEL
Above average working knowledge of SAP
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
Computer Knowledge
