Regional Administrator

Job mission
To process requisitions, liaise with the Purchasing, Creditors’ and Fixed Assets departments, to maintain the departmental accruals register and to perform associated general administrative functions across the National Sales department and to effectively support the administrative requirements of the National Sales Manager.
KPA duties
Processing of requisitions:
• Raise Opex and RFPs
• Verify requisition authorisation as per Delegation Authority
• Capture requisitions for department
• Check accuracy of account allocation
• Provide completed requisitions to the Purchasing department
• Record purchase order numbers allocated to requisitions in the Log
Co-ordinating signatures on invoices:
• Obtain copy invoices form Creditor’s department
• Receive invoices from external suppliers and supply to Creditor’s department
• Obtain requisite authorisation on invoices
• Log and check invoices against purchase order amounts in the Spreadsheet Log
General Administration:
• Conduct daily budget control checks (account allocation and correct cost centre)
• Follow-up on payments of monthly-approved purchase orders
• Update and maintain approval spreadsheet
• Obtain WBS and COA/CAM codes from Fixed Assets department
• Assist the National Sales Manager with budgets and forecast administration
• Load budgets on OFA
• Perform general administrative functions
• Assist with production of presentations and reports.
Log requisitions, purchase orders and invoices to facilitate accounting for accruals at month-end and to provide management with details of amounts committed.
Educational requirements
• Matric
Experience required
• 1 year experience in a PA position or general Office Admin duties.
• Experience of the MTN organisation
