Job Title- Retail Store Manager



Reporting to – Retail Area Manager



Band - 3


Purpose

Manage a customer facing business unit for a new mobile brand, maximizing net subscriber growth and revenue growth. You will be a member of the Retail sales management team contributing to the overall channel development. Our retail experience will rely heavily on the quality of our retail staff and we see recruiting the right people as the cornerstone of bringing our brand to life.






Key Responsibilities

· Recruit motivate coach and develop store team

· Deliver business results in line with company expectations

· Achieve personal and team objectives.

· Provide sales team with resources and information required to achieve their objectives.

· Manage store within parameters set out in the standard operating procedures

· Act as customer champion ensuring that existing and potential customers receive an excellent customer experience and opportunities are maximized.

· As manager of the business unit you assume responsibility for outcomes of your actions and those of your team.

· Full supervisory responsibilities focusing on the leadership of people in all work activities - may include counseling employees on performance and contributing to employee pay decisions/changes.




Profile

With a minimum of 2 years retail management experience, the role holder will have a successful track record in management of a multi disciplined sales team in a competitive market preferably in retail. Display aptitude for and interest in telecommunications. Information exchange is a significant feature of the job with a necessity to clarify information of a more complex nature. There is a requirement for tact and diplomacy when dealing with others both internally and externally.

· Ability to achieve results through others

· Ability to lead, motivate and inspire, in line with the company & brand values

· Ability to deliver financial and customer experience objectives

· Broad knowledge of IT systems.

· Understanding the value customers experience represents in achieving objectives.


Qualifications



· Relevant Degree, Diploma or equivalent certification is desirable
