Interim - Shop Representative (30h)
at BASE in Charleroi
Context of the job
The shop representative works as part of the Commercial – Sales Department under the supervision of the shop manager.
The shop representative is working in one or more shops in Belgium and assists in assuring a further development and successful continuity of the shops.
Key accountabilities
The shop representative assists in ensuring that the quantitative and qualitative objectives set are being reached and helps the shop manager in the daily shop organisation and management. The job demands highly flexibility to help out other shops when necessary. The shop representative sells our products & services, satisfies and maintains new and existing customers.
Reaching quantitative results month by month:
- reaching the sales objectives per product and in its total following the target set.
Reaching qualitative results month by month :
- reaching the sales objectives per product and per segment
- reaching the shop and individual service level quality by means of mystery shopping, experience surveys, ...
- reaching the merchandising level quality (shop appearance- availability of price labels, product marketing,…), supervising the BASE shop towards BASE image and BASE uniformity
- warranting excellent customer service by handling customer complaints in order to improve customer satisfaction
Being able to sell our products & services and providing service to our customers by:
- knowledge and application of the Sales techniques, products & Services, USP’s, competitors, systems and procedures.
- being able to identify the needs and requirements of the customers and provide the right product/service to the right customer
- keeping up to date on the latest technologies and the market situation
To provide help to the shop manager at all times to organize and manage the shop in the best way:
- making sure that that alarm is activated at all times and assuring correct opening & closing of the shop
- making sure all procedures/policies/HR guidelines are followed in the shop at all times, with all means.
- to assist the shop manager in the creation of work and holiday planning and being flexible to help other shops when necessary.
- ensuring general reports and administration on time.
- providing all up to date information for the calculation and follow up of commissioning in the shop
- ensuring realistic, proper stock, inventory files, repairs, ... and follow up in the shop
- taking initiative to improve work processes in the shop, improving the acquisition and retention of new and existing customers.
