Senior Engineer MicroWave transport network
at M-Tel in Sofia, Bulgaria
The responsibilities:
> Participates in the activities related to management and maintenance of Microwave Transport Network System and Services for their proper operation > Participates in the activities related to putting into operation new equipment and software of Microwave Transport Network Systems > Participates in the activities related to updating the existing equipment and software of Microwave Transport Network Systems > Participates in the preventive maintenance activities of the Microwave Transport Network Systems > Examines the technologies, equipment and software of the suppliers of Microwave Transport Network Systems, the past and potential troubles and weaknesses, as well as the methods for their elimination
The requirements:
> University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or comparable on the job experience > At least 2 years experience in the field. > Capable of resolving priority conflicts on daily basis > Good expertise on all types of transmission networks > Excellent expertise on Microwave Transport Network systems in terms of technologies, topologies and protection mechanisms, routing and traffic classification > Strong analytical and problem-solving skills > Good working with people > Very good verbal and written communication skills. Fluent Bulgarian and good English language. > Professional attitude and behavior > Knowledge in the area of UNIX/Linux operating systems, IP routing and switching, RDBMS will be considered as an advantage
