Senior Software Engineer
at M-Tel in Sofia, Bulgaria
The responsibilities:
> Develop and deliver the requested functionality within time and within the quality parameters. > Research proactively new technologies and look for ways to apply them in Mobiltel systems. > Control, coordinate and consult the programmers in sector about execution of assigned tasks. > Use the necessary development and testing tools and equipment. > Use source and version control systems and maintain source code and releases. > Communicate with business users regarding questions and requests. > Maintain proper system documentation.
The requirements:
> University degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. > Knowledge of principles and practices of object-oriented programming and software modeling. > Java engineer with in depth knowledge of Java and its related technologies. > Experience with design patterns, JMS, remote method invocations, XML, EJB, JSF, SOAP, etc. > Experience and knowledge of data modeling and database development, SQL (MS SQL Server, Oracle). > Experience and knowledge of development tools and environments – Eclipse, Netbeans, CVS > Experience in Web logic application server. > Good knowledge of operating systems Windows, UNIX (AIX, HPUX, Linux). > Experience in telecommunications business systems is a great plus.
