Coordinator, Technical Training and Recruitment - Bilingual

JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for administrative duties, analysis and reporting, and coordination of special projects and assignments for the Technical Training and Recruitment team.
JOB SCOPE
• Provide administrative support for recruitment, hiring and technical training functions
• Facilitate and manage special projects as assigned by the Associate Director
• Maintain / organize reporting information for the Associate Director
• Data capture, input, reporting and analysis
• Maintain recruitment and hiring tracking information
• Maintain business calendars
• Track and monitor departmental budget, including process and audit of expense invoices and departmental purchases
• Prepare, format and draft internal and external documents and presentations in English and French
• Coordinate and participate in meetings, seminars, career fairs and special events
• Coordinate travel arrangements
• Take actions and make decisions on the administration of the Technical Training & Recruitment department
• Various other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
• Fluency in French and English (oral and written)
• Grade 12 or equivalency
• 3 years of senior-level administrative experience is required
• Post Secondary Education preferred, with an emphasis in Business Administration or Human Resources
• Experience in recruiting and new hire orientation an asset
• Significant experience in using Microsoft Office products at an advanced level (including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of SAP, M/S Access, Taleo, M/S Project an asset
• Experience in monitoring and tracking budgets
• Able to create clear, concise and error-free professional documents in both English and French
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
• Office Environment, with some time in an industrial office environment
• Some travel may be required
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends to meet business needs
