Sr. Business Systems Analyst, Wireless

Accountability/Position Summary
Work closely with business functional departments & the Billing & Revenue Management Solution vendor to analyze and clarify requirements and to effectively document IT external designs. This may include assisting the business client in defining and documenting their National Wireless requirements to the appropriate level of detail required by IT & the Vendor.
Key Responsibilities
• Analysis and documentation of system designs based on business functional requirements while identifying project risks, issues and constraints
• Work with the vendor to design cost-effective and timely IT solutions across multiple business and IS departments
• Manage business client expectations and responsibilities through planning and effective communication of IS requirements
• Provide guidance to business teams in defining and documenting their requirements to an appropriate level of detail.
• Provide guidance to business areas in formulation of user acceptance test cases and strategy
• Key communication point between business areas and IS development teams
• Work closely with other IS development groups in creating cross-functional system solutions
• Provide guidance in translation of business requirements into documents to support IT solution.
• Able to provide analysis and design skills on multiple projects simultaneously
• Make presentations to management, internal customers and project team as required for design approval or communication
Specific Functional/Technical Knowledge and Skills
• Experience in analysis for order entry, order management and customer management applications and/or experience in a telecommunications company
• Oracle BRM experience
• Experience in implementation using Solution Integrators
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Knowledgeable in all aspects of the software development lifecycle
• Experience in estimating labour effort
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite and associated tools
• Knowledge of the capabilities of a range of new technologies is an asset
Other Skills/Competencies/Attributes
Education & Certification:
• University Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering or Computer Science
Experience:
• 5+ years in a business systems analyst role
• 5+ years of experience in the systems development industry
