full time Project Manager - Human Resources

POSITION OVERVIEW

In this out of scope role you will be assisting the Corporate Social Responsibility department in the design, development and implementation of SaskTel YOUTHnetwork programming. You will build local, national and International relationships with community, corporate and educational partners to position SaskTel as an employer and service provider of choice for the next generation of customers and employees. Through these relationships, the Project Manager- Human Resources leverages opportunities that support SaskTel’s current and future business goals and objectives, such as developing long-term pipelines of candidates for future recruitment and establishing a stronger corporate brand within youth and community.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Partners with members of the Corporate Social Responsibility department to promote post secondary education and SaskTel as a future employer of choice to high school students across the province of Saskatchewan.

2. Assist in the creation, development and implementation of partnership programs with Saskatchewan high schools to implement YOUTHnetwork programs such as mentorships, work placements, and summer hire programs that assist students in establishing career and educational goals.

3. Accountable for supporting Human Resource leaders to develop and market strategies that supports SaskTel’s ability to attract high potential and diverse talent.

4. Develops and delivers presentations to both internal and external groups promoting SaskTel’s YOUTHnetwork program as appropriate.

5. Liaises with community groups, educational institutions, other Crown Corporations, and government agencies to create and maintain effective partnerships in a position to influence the program and practices of youth programming.

6. Liases with internal departments and employee volunteer groups to coordinate the SaskTel We See You program and ensure it is leveraged both internally and externally through employee engagement, communication, external public relations and media related events to maximize the We See You program.

7. Maintains and manages the SaskTel We See You program, including the engagement of community, business and educational partners in the implementation of the We See You program process.

8. Builds relationships with International government agencies, logistics and non-profit organizations to develop proper documentation and manifests that ensure safe passage of We See You program containers as well as develop strategies for distribution of delivered goods.

9. Develops, designs and maintains all external communication and promotion of the SaskTel We See You program including the SaskTel We See You website, all promotional materials associated with the program and all external presentations to interested parties.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS



1. Knowledge of and experience in Human Resources Management, the social sciences and/or Business Administration.

2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

a. Knowledge and experience at preparing and delivering presentations

b. Proven ability at report writing

c. Proven experience in public speaking or presentations.

3. Proven ability to plan, organize and analyze projects.

4. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with employees and managers at all levels.

5. Thorough knowledge of SaskTel departmental operations and the interrelationships of various departments.

6. Experience in operating personal computers.

7. Travel within the province is required.
