PAYMENT SPEC III - Collections

Job Description As a Payment Specialist III Representative you have the opportunity to work independently to resolve complex and difficult customer service issues in addition to collecting on delinquent or past due accounts. You work with customers to determine the reason for delinquency, overcome objections by solving unresolved issues to obtain payment or payment commitment.
Preferred qualifications include:
• Bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish
• Successful completion of a drug and background investigation
• Call activity for this position may be monitored for quality assurance.
Basic qualifications include:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years credit and/or collections experience
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office products
• Ability to communicate by telephone
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
•Strong listening and negotiation skills.
•Ability to defuse escalated calls successfully in a professional manner.
