Job Description

This role will be responsible for the management of Virgin Mobile products and services, ranging from rate plans to mobile devices to data services. The primary responsibilities of this position are to own the category P&L, manage product operations, coordinate the development of current Virgin Mobile projects and design the future product roadmap. Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as subject matter expert for Virgin Mobile products.

• Own Virgin Mobile product financial performance metrics - multi-year forecasts, short term outlooks, current performance and end of period reconciliation.

• Manage day-to-day product operations - maintain vendor relationships and analyze trends within the business.

• Coordinate the execution of current product development initiatives - identify, articulate and document functional requirements business, IT and vendor audiences.

• Develop product roadmaps, design new products and enhance current products – develop business cases, evaluate vendor proposals, define project scope and coordinate internal teams for execution.

• Support product deal flow – Work with internal legal team to negotiate and establish new service relationships.

This individual will generate financial reports (business cases, outlooks, forecasts and analytics), manage external vendors and partners for both existing and new product development, document business requirements (systems, networks and handsets) for product initiatives and analyze the industry landscape to develop future services.



The position will involve cross functional interactions with finance, vendor, legal, marketing and technical teams, so the best candidate will be well versed enough to demonstrate knowledge to earn the respect of teams from across the organization.


Related Responsibilities:

• Promote and manage cross-functional communication and collaboration with internal finance, marketing, IT and legal teams.

• Develop communications for senior management on product performance, initiative status and issue resolution.

• Manage relationships with vendors such as content aggregators, application developers and platform providers.

• Lead meetings to coordinate project execution, resolve roadblocks and avert delays and cost overruns.
