Sprint’s Prepaid Group (SPG) is having an exciting year with the launch of new brands and galvanizing the existing ones. We see endless opportunities, do you??

Our newly created role of National Sales Manager – New Business Development, will do just that for the Channel Sales team. This position will report to director of Channel Management.

You are hunter, you may not want to be mired in the details, so let’s share some key responsibilities and set the stage for you.

* Manages and directs new channel development in support of the identification, evaluation and management of new national distribution opportunities. * Oversees market analyses, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer and channel needs. * Provides leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives. * Accountable for the development and implementation of strategic channel development plans and account management responsibilities. * Manages the activities across functions in sales, marketing, product and operations with accountability for goals, objectives, and operational policies to grow SPG’s national retail channels. * Participates in the development of Channel strategy. * Evaluates and manages new strategic channel business opportunities, initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have experience in: National Mass Retail/ Head Office Relationships, Sales Management, Consumer Electronics experience necessary. Preferably with a manufacturer.

Wireless industry experience recommended.

Demonstrated account management and interpersonal skills.

Successful track record of sales overachievement.

Must have 5 or more years of successful sales experience.

Candidate should have a clean driving record in compliance with Sprint Fleet requirements.
