Patent Attorney, San Jose

Job Function Patent Attorney with 5+ years experience. Experience in semiconductor and flat panel display technologies desired. The Patent Attorney will assist in overseeing the patent portfolio for the MEMS technology division of Qualcomm. Position will involve patent prosecution and portfolio management. Position will also involve patent infringement and validity analysis related to due diligence activities.
Skills/Experience Must have at least 5+ years experience in patent preparation and prosecution. Experience in infringement and validity analysis is preferred. Foreign prosecution experience is desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities This position involves client interaction so good communication skills are required. This position also requires the ability to work in a team environment.
Education Requirements Required: Juris Doctor, Law Degree, Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent experience preferred, USPTO Registration, and at least one state Bar registration
