full time Engineering Planner

at Qualcomm in Taiwan - Hsinchu

Job Function With engineerfing background and responsible for planning and coordinating of component supply chain.
Managing the readiness of new products/components/processes which are under development.
Settling logistics preparation down for transition new products to be mass production.
This role has to make sure materials & infrastructure will be ready for different builds in different mile stones - e.g. WS (working Samples), ES (Engineering Samples), CS (Commercial Samples), Pre-Production.
Analyze schedule status, critical path, constraints, prepare and recommend recovery or workaround plans.
Knowledge of cost/schedule integrated project planning tools, production planning, procurement, and MRP.
Monitoring product development process and escalating for improvement during NPI (New Product Introduction) stage.
Must be able to prioritize work as required and work independently.
Skills/Experience Skills/Experience:
5~7 years experience in New Product/Process Program Management, SC Planning.
Good organizational, analytical, strong written and verbal communication skills are all required.
Must have strong presentation skills.
Demonstrated skills in collaborating and communicating with program management and other engineering-based functional areas.
Must possess strong leadership skills.
Prior experience with transitioning products from development to production preferred.
Electrical/Mechanical/Material/Chemical Engineering, and/or Physics background is a plus.
Additional Skills:
Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
Ability to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders
Advanced MS tool skills (Project, Power point, Excel) required
Qualified Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
Responsibilities
Education Requirements Master's Degree or equivalent (Electrical/Mechanical/Material/Chemical/Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, APICS certification or similar preferred)
