Packet Core Group Engineer of Technical division
at Velcom in Minsk, Belarus
Main tasks:
• Operation and maintenance of packet core network nodes (SGSN, GGSN, RADIUS, DNS and etc.);
• Communication with vendors regarding ordinary and emergency support issues;
• Analyzing of key performance indicators of packet core network nodes and of the overall service;
• Solving incidents, identification and resolution of problems;
• In a close cooperation with Products and Services development division development and implementation of innovative solutions, new services;
Requirements:
• Higher education in Telecommunications, IT or relevant
• Understanding of GSM/UMTS wireless architecture
• Operational experience with network equipment (CCNA level or higher)
• Knowledge of network routing protocols
• Experience in implementation of VPN tunnels: IPSEC, GRE, L2TP and etc.
• Knowledge of linux/solaris operating system is a plus
• Good command of English language both in verbal and written form
