Linux/Unix Administrator
at Velcom in Minsk, Belarus
Requirements:
• knowledge of the structure of OS Linux/Unix (RedHat/FC, Solaris), experience of installation and configuration;
• knowledge of file systems (logging, RAID, NFS) and work experience with logical partitions;
• methods of archiving and data back-up;
• basics of http/ftp/smtp/ntp/snmp protocols and work experience with the corresponding services;
• experience in compilation, installation and configuration of services;
• basics of network protocols, configuration of interfaces and routing in the system;
• system safety principle on users’ level (access);
• system safety on services’ level (firewall);
• DNS principle, realization in the system on client/server level;
• System command shell utilities, vi editor;
• programming shell, perl, php;
• basics of sql, experience in setting applications for work of mysql/oracle;
• knowledge of methods and understanding of logging principles, setting;
• experience in analyzing and trouble-shooting in the system, experience in checking, diagnosis and removal of network problems;
• experience of work in a team, activities planning and coordination;
• technical English;
• completed higher education;
