Role / Department Overview
To design, develop and oversee Transport Backbone Planning for mobile and fixed network, Packet network optimization plan, IP based fixed and mobile service solution with appropriate CAPEX investment ensuring existing resources usages and establish policies and guideline for topology and traffic protection.
Job Responsibility

Designing IP transport to cater all packet data as per business plan.
*
Design IP network QoS and Security to meet the business plan.
*
Ensure readiness of IP Transport Network as per business plan.
*
Cost optimization in carrier network providing voice, data and multimedia services.
*
Ensure HW and SW up gradation plan for transport network align with business demand.
*
Perform evaluation and Benchmarking of new technologies and features in Transport Network.
*
Ensuring Optimum packet routing, Network Security policy and Service Control to achieve seamless traffic switching throughout the transport network.
*
Prepare
RFQ for new equipment requests and present it to the
HOD for approval.
* Design network wide common Data Communication Network for all Network Elements and smooth Operation and maintenance.
Education & Experience Requirements
*
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Telecommunications from a reputed university.
MBA will be an added advantage.
* At least 2 years of experience in telecom IP Transport network is required.
Special Skills Requirements
* Proper exposure with relevant on hand experience in IP transport network is needed.
* Should have strong technical knowledge on
OSI based IP network with
CCNA level aptitude.
