Role / Department Overview

To plan, develop and oversee Transport Backbone Planning for mobile and fixed network, initiate day to day network rollout, capacity upgrade and transport network optimization plan with appropriate CAPEX investment ensuring existing resources usages and establish policies and guideline for topology and traffic protection.
Job Responsibility

* Support in designing IP transport to cater all packet data as per business plan * Devise DCN and Synchronization strategy as well as functional plan for network redundancy and drive for customer satisfaction * Support timely readiness of IP Transport Network as per business plan * Support in ensuring technology readiness in IP transport backbone network for cost optimum carrier network providing voice, data and multimedia services * Ensure HW and SW upgradation plan for transport network align with business demand * Perform evaluation and benchmarking of new technologies and features in Transport Network * Manage transport test-bed and related testing tools.

Education & Experience Requirements

* B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Telecommunications from a reputed University * At least 1 year of working experience in related field

Special Skills Requirements

* Profound knowledge in IP based Transport network with solid understanding in OSPF protocols and other relevant understanding
