SCM Functional Operating Model Expert

Essence of Role
1. Impact on the Business
• CBM functional change management expert
• Prepares the local market for the ERP phase of EVO implementation
• Uses the SCOPE methodology for the assessment, and improvement of local markets’ operating models
• Supports the local market in retain organisation design and optimisation
• Leads on change activity relevant to the function before, during and post the ERP implementation phase
• Monitors local market compliance with the specification and highlights non compliance
• Drives the realisation of the business case benefits from the specification
• Activity is driven by the EVO deployment plan.
2. Stakeholders
• Build strong relationships with the local market to articulate goals, objectives and requirements.
• Drive and manage the evolution of the transformation with key local market business owners
• Maintain strong relationships with the Enablement team, One SCM Community, EVO and governance teams outside if the local market
3. Leadership and Teamwork
• Manage and lead teams where necessary, particularly virtual teams that may be cross functional, cross cultural and international
• Liaise where necessary with the local market and EVO Programme teams to ensure tactical gaps are recognised and addressed
• Liaise and lead where necessary with the local market and EVO Programme teams to ensure strategic gaps are recognised and addressed
• Work closely together with the local market team and business leads to ensure that strategic gaps are identified and solutions developed so that the local market realises the full SCM business benefits of the change required for EVO.
• In conjunction with the Process Governance team, ensure all new policies, procedures and processes designed due to business transformation are aligned with Group and are fully SOX compliant
4. Innovation and Change
• Provide best practise methodologies for implementing change
• Provide strong and clear end to end support for change management to ensure business changes can be executed across multiple local markets
• Fully understand the implications of the CBM implementation on an local market’s As-Is business model
• Provide leadership to business change projects within an affected local market, providing knowledge transfer and reasoning for change
5. Knowledge and Experience
• Ensure that the FSOM and EVO/CBM models align with any future changes
• Understand the FSOM and EVO/CBM model to a detailed and expert level
• Uphold and rationalise FSOM goals and objectives with local market Business Leads and within local market teams.
• Provide knowledge transfer of best practises to cross cultural and cross functional teams
• Lead by best example within teams that are less knowledgeable of the end state
• Be seen as the global knowledge owner for business change within an local market and be the principal point of contact for questions from the SCMT, EVO and Governance teams where necessary.
6. Communication
• Present and discuss FSOM goals and objectives and the EVO/CBM design with a local market.

• Excellent detailed knowledge of the complexities between the One SCM model and the VPC model
• Strong Team leadership skills. Inspires, motivates and delivers at all levels including Senior Management teams
• Strong change management skills, with experience of managing conflicting interests
• Proven tack record of implementation of ERP systems, driving process improvement opportunities through to implementation and exceptional customer focus. A shared services environment is desirable.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to ensure credibility with senior management
• Strong prioritisation, organisational and people management skills, with proven experience across different territories and cultures
• Cross cultural awareness on global scale, multi national experience is preferred. Experience of building effective working relationships with international and geographically disparate teams
• Good commercial acumen and ability to identify and solve varied business problems as they relate to ERP systems and the design of key End 2 End processes
• Demonstrates a robust personal style
• Regular travel requirements are required to ensure timely delivery of role function
