Essence of Role
1. Investment Appraisal • Provide in depth analysis for acquisition opportunities and to be VGE Finance lead in bringing in all the data together
• Provide financial and commercial advise and leadership to the Customer Solutions team within VGE
• Provide financial leadership on VGE wide core change programmes, including design, stakeholder management, and implementation and in life administration of key programmes.
2. GT Finance Lead • Financially manage the VGE projects budget that are funded through GT & VGE
• Identify risk and mitigation strategies in product business cases that are funded via GT
4. Ad-hoc analysis projects • Create original techniques and perspectives in order to analyse forward looking financial information on various topics.
• Participate in the analysis of development projects as needed.
• Create written analysis and executive summaries as needed.
• Present findings to team and lead team discussion.

Business case analysis
PowerPoint presentations to senior managers in communicating clear ideas, strategies and solutions
Formal forecast analysis for opex & capex spend for both GT & VGE budgets
Technical/Professional Expertise
• Qualified accountant with relevant experience in telecommunications industry.
• Excellent commercial acumen and the ability to engage and influence at all levels of management (finance and non-finance), internally and externally.
• Strong cross-cultural awareness with international experience.
• Ability to explain complex financial information in both verbal and written form.
• Ability to create, develop and make recommendations for more efficient systems, processes and procedures.
• Ability to work on their own and within a team including leading teams.
• Robust individual with excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and delegate.
• Strong analysis skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with good systems knowledge.
• Flexible, driven, self starter, used to dynamic fast paced environment and working to tight deadlines. Qualified accountant with relevant experience in telecommunications industry..
