full time Associate - Computer Applications Support

Name and description of the hiring department:



The Computer Applications Support role - Bell Customer Loyalty and Sales design, develop, optimize and support various tools which focus on driving revenues and improving operational efficiencies.



Job Duties/Accountabilities:



- Database development , Data analysis, Data manipulation, importing and extraction

- Reporting Services, Access, Excel

- Complete Project Management of local or enterprise developed products

- Support of key DMC technology platforms

- Identify potential areas of improvement.

- Deliver key findings to management team and make recommendations / implement solutions accordingly.




Essential Qualifications/Competencies:



- A minimum of 2 years experience as a Database Developer in an SQL environment.
- Programming skills in Oracle
- MS Access advanced level (Database development, Data analysis, Data manipulation, importing and extractions)
- Ms Excel advanced level (Database development, Data analysis, Data manipulation, importing and extractions)
- Proven leadership skills
- Strong team building skills, recognizing the efforts and passion to finding solutions to problems
- Proven Experience in the following disciplines : Software Development Lifecycle and Project / Service / Release / Change Management

- Bilingual for Montréal (French 555 & English 555)




Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:



- Experience as a Web Developer in an ASP / ASP.NET environments. (ASP.Net certification an asset)

- VB.Net, C#, JavaScript, VBA, VB Script

- SQL Server 2005,2008 / Reporting Services / SSIS / Analysis Services

- IIS web server configuration and maintenance

- Microsoft Windows Server 2000, 2003, 2008 configuration and maintenance

- Knowledge of Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and Windows 7 environments

- Programming skills in other Web programming languages will also be considered.

- Call Center KPIs

- Workforce Management Software – IEX

- Predictive Dialling technologies

- Post-secondary diploma/degree preferably in a technical discipline




Working Conditions:



- Regular hours - Monday - Friday : 8:00 - 6:00PM

- As part of operational needs, shifts may require adjustment to accommodate Call Centre hours of operation which is currently - Mon – Fri > 8:00 am – 9:00 pm / Sat > 9:30 am – 6:30 pm / Sunday 11:30 am – 5:30 pm
