The Field Services business unit of Bell Canada is seeking an Associate Director to support its internal and external communications needs.
Reporting to the Vice President, Shared Services, the incumbent will support the needs two VP organizations in Field Services: Shared Services and Customer Provisioning & Assurance.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
* Support business unit and departmental objectives through multi-channel and multi-medium employee and stakeholder communications * Develop and deliver internal communications plan for Shared Services and CP&A organizations in Field Services * Work with Vice President and Director clients to coordinate and execute change management efforts in the organization * Collaborate with Corporate Communications and other Field Services communications primes to align communication strategy, content and execution in the business unit * Act as departmental communications link for all company wide initiatives * Lead the development of formal announcements, presentations, video scripts, speeches, talking points, and key messaging for the Vice Presidents of Shared Services and CP&A respectively (including monthly, quarterly, annual and project based communications) * Design and establish communication processes, guidelines, knowledge management and quality assurance standards to help fellow communication primes, executives, managers and employees create and maintain a two-way open and transparent communication environmentCritical Qualifications/Competencies:
* Undergraduate degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, English Literature or Business Administration. Graduate degree an asset. * 3-7 years progressive experience in a corporate communications or program management function in a large corporation or organization * Demonstrated logical writing, editing and verbal communication skills * Strong project management and quality assurance skills. * Capability to create and maintain collaborative relationships and a positive team spirit among corporate unit and business segment colleagues * Capacity to work under pressure and manage parallel work streams * Detail and results-oriented, able to work under pressure to meet very tight timelines * Results and end-deliverable oriented * Fluency in English and FrenchAdditional Information:
