Name and description of the hiring department:



The “Ontario Gateways Solutions” sales group is seeking candidates who strive to understand and define customer needs and lead/close business deals via outgoing calls and customer lists (new and/or existing customers). The successful candidates will need to develop and maintain sales with potential customers, by providing them information on Bell products and services, as well as meeting year and monthly revenue targets set by local management teams. The successful candidates will either be assigned to incoming or outgoing calls, as per the business unit’s needs.



Job Duties/Accountabilities:



Solicit business customers by phone through the dialler, in order to promote our products and services (legacy and new-in products).

Meet or exceed revenue and productivity targets in order to increase Bell’s revenues and market share.

Apply specific quality standards during calls and on order submission and follow-up in order to ensure customer satisfaction.

Prepare and tailor service offerings (content validation, closing the deal).

Ensure strict follow-up and prevent business opportunities to slip away.

Develop, modify and apply sales, service and organisational efficiency strategies and techniques in order to reach objectives. Supply ongoing sales quote/closed sales reports to direct report at specific intervals.

Read information received in e-mails and other communication formats, follow requested training sessions to stay abreast of new products, services, promotions, processes, pricing, rules, etc.

Collaborate with several internal groups and external partners.




Essential Qualifications/Competencies:



- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in English 5 written, 5 spoken, 5 reading.

- MS Word basic level.

- MS Excel basic level.
- Proficient telephony protocol skills.
- Solid base in sales and customer service.
- Active listening, empathy.
- Proficient problem resolution skills.
- Capacity to perform a high volume of sales-related calls on a daily basis.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Knowledge of Bell products and services (Data transmission services: Avaya/Mitel/Cisco hardware, Internetworking, Alliance products, etc.).
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends.
- Ability to manage and overcome obstacles that can impair a sale.
- Be an agent of change.
- Very flexible (dynamic environment, many changes).
- Good team spirit and leadership.
- Business acumen.
- Efficient organizing and planning of tasks and follow-ups.
- Proficient use of tools and applications.




Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:



- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in French.

- Faimiliar with quoting tool: Unified Tool.

- Knowledge of BCRIS.

- Knowledge of SAP.




Working Conditions:



- Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
