Call Center Business Analyst

Job Description:
Business Analyst
The Business Analyst will be responsible for working closely with the Care organization and other functional groups to examine existing business models/processes and the flows of data in the business supporting them as necessary to accomplish their overall goals. The qualified candidate will have experience in this field who can operate independently and proactively, can contribute ideas and thought leadership, and who can work comfortably with executive management and various levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
•Data mining to help understand customer behavior, sales behavior, and explore unfound opportunities for sales and revenue enhancements;
•Reporting and trend analysis on customer factors, employee performance and various ad-hoc projects;
•Provide data feeds for marketing campaigns;
•Prepare predictive models for use in managing customer databases.
•Perform detailed reporting, analysis of subscriber databases, and other ad hoc reporting relating to subscribers.
Qualifications:
• Significant previous experience in database development and report writing. Working knowledge of at least one database report writer software system (i.e., R&R Reports Writer, Crystal, Oracle, Cognos, Business Objects)
• Proficient in MS Office software; expert level abilities in Excel and Access and MS SQL Server
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex data
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to establish effective rapport with markets, internal contacts, and executive management team
• Thorough understanding and demonstrated proficiency with relational databases and data file structures, including ability to create, develop and modify reports based upon operational requirements;
•Minimum of two years related experience performing AR/finance analysis (preferably within a customer operations environment)
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; or equivalent combination of education, training, and business/work experience required
