People Development Generalist/Manager

Job Description:
The Clearwire team has a great opportunity for you if you are an experienced, talented HR professional with the drive, energy and experience to truly make a difference in our business. Clearwire is growing dramatically and we are looking for a Business Partner to help drive the culture, values and employee experience that had already made us successful. This opportunity will be based in one of our large Texas markets and will support South Central Clearwire markets.
Specifically, you'll have the opportunity to:
•Consult with all levels of management on employee relations, staffing, compensation, development, organizational and change management issues.
•Partner with PD colleagues to develop and implement specific programs directly aligned to business strategy including: sales incentive plans, 360 feedback, diversity initiatives, performance management, recognition and mobility and career development.
•Act as an employee advocate - insuring that employees and managers are able to express concerns in a manner that is respectful of all individuals and supportive of our goals and values.
•Provide support, guidance and partnership on HR issues to Clearwire’s market leadership teams on employee compliance requirements and provide guidance and proactive assistance to ensure they reach their organizational objectives.
•Play a proactive role in retaining positive employee relations, a motivated team and in cultivating culture for Clearwire across all markets.
Position Requirements:
•8+ years demonstrated performance and ability to provide HR consultation to managers and employees on HR issues including Employee Relations, Staffing, Compensation, HR policies and Performance Management.
•Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and be creative in developing alternative solutions in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
•Ability to effectively lead multiple activities across a geographically dispersed population of managers and employees, meeting/exceeding commitments.
•Can demonstrate a passion for identifying and developing talent in an organization.
•Ideally have worked closely with a national sales organization and understand how to motivate and support a decentralized sales team.
•Have flexibility for regionally based travel to customer base.
