Point of Sale Systems Administrator

In conjunction with this agreement Intel Corporation (through Intel Capital); Google Inc.; Comcast Corporation; Time Warner Cable Inc; and Bright House Networks have collectively agreed to invest $3.2 billion into the new company.
Retail Systems Administrator
Clearwire is seeking an experienced customer focused individual to support Clearwire’s Retail & POS systems. This role will work closely with the Retail Systems team to provide ongoing operational support and manage system installations both onsite and remotely.
Responsibilities
• Manage the POS installation process in Production and Pre-Production environments
• Install and upgrade Point-Of-Sale systems including hardware, software, and networking
• Configure proprietary software to meet the needs of the customer under direction of Retail Systems team
• Maintain, Upgrade and Configure the base Operating Systems/Communication components (Linux, Windows) on Pre-Production and Production systems
• Repair/Support systems on site and remotely via phone
• Tracks and manages POS systems support issues contributing support information to appropriate departments and partners.
• Diagnose, resolve, and document appropriate resolution for store systems issues
• Must be on call for after hours support
Qualifications
• Excellent software, computer, and networking experience and/or education.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize handling of issues in a high stress/pressure work environment.
• Experience with Point of Sale hardware and software
• Very high comfort level working with Windows, Linux, LAN/WAN networking, firewalls, and general security is essential.
• A+ or Network+ certifications desired
• POS Application programming experience desired
• SQL experience required
• MYSQL experience highly desirable
• The ability to lift and carry 50 to 75 lbs is required
• Must have a flexible schedule and willing to work some nights/weekends.
• A valid driver’s license, proof of personal auto liability insurance, and a good driving record is required.
